Shooting
portraits is an amusing way to meet people, often with unexpected results. Either
formal or not, the portrait makes us naked, and before the camera there is always
some surprise. At the end, it is the subject who decides how he/she wants to
look like, though often he/she is not aware of this. The photographer is there
to grasp the (fleeting) moment. And he must be ready to do it.
